Ever wondered how kids can learn another language so easily? As an adult learner of Spanish and a language teacher, I did! As a linguistic researcher, I conducted empirical research into language acquisition.

I love to travel, and I consider Colombia my adoptive second country. These trips date to my foolish(er) youth. I lived in Cali, Colombia in 2010-2011 and traveled extensively in Mexico in 2003.
